Kaera Vane - Lasombra Goetia
Lasombra Goetia is the final musical and visual chapter of Kaera Vane — a farewell ritual cloaked in cinematic symbolism. Blending live-action with stylized 3D environments, the video traces the slow disintegration of a persona: a pink-haired woman walks through liminal spaces, chased by memories, shadows, and fire. Events that occured during Kaera Vane's existence are symbolically carved into the scenes of this video. A vintage Mustang roars through the night. Icons burn. The protagonist steps into the abandoned opera house of forgotten bands and lost dreams. This is not a celebration — it’s a funeral.
Shot on location and layered with surreal visual compositions, the film explores the dissolution of artistic identity, the death of subcultural dreams, and the tension between the real and the projected. At its core lies a woman divided in two: the physical self and the spectral alter ego — the artist and her shadow — walking in parallel until one of them enters the state of non-existence.
Directed by Thanos Kallianiotis, Lasombra Goetia is both a music video and a standalone short film: a visual requiem for a band that no longer exists, and a cinematic rebirth of the creator behind it.
